On Friday, a small plane crashed at a small airport in South Florida, ki!!ing two individuals, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the collision happened at about 11 a.m. local time at the Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana. The Cessna Skyhawk was shown on television smashed into multiple parts and located far from the runway.

As reported by WPTV, a small plane crashed into the Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana on Friday, ki!!ing two people.
Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the crash site at around 11:30 a.m., where they reportedly discovered the bodies of two passengers inside the plane.
According to the FAA, the plane in question was a Cessna 172 with a single engine. A footage recovered by news outlets showed the badly damaged plane lying on its side in grass next to a runway near the Lake Osborne campsite.
A member of the public relations team for the National Transportation Safety Board informed that an investigator had arrived in the region on Friday night and had begun working on the incident on Saturday morning.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue has only acknowledged that they attended to an incident involving a small plane, but no other details have been released.

John Holland IV, 43, of Delray Beach, and Michael Marshall Jr., 34, of Boca Raton, both perished when their Diamond DA40 crashed on March 5 at 9:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office reported. The crash occurred in a field roughly 1,000 feet from a runway.
In an interview with Tania Rogers, Palm Beach County Mayor Gregg Weiss said that a safety review of the Lantana airport had previously been ordered before Friday’s tragedy.
Weiss said, “We have contacted the FAA in that regard, so that was already in process before this occurred, and so maybe this will shed additional light.”
