After Meeting With Putin, Lukashenko Was Hurried To The Hospital In A Critical Condition
According to Belarus’ opposition leader Valery Tsepkalo, President Alexander Lukashenko was “urgently” brought to a hospital in Moscow after visiting Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, and is currently in critical condition. During Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Lukashenko, 68, has been one of Vladimir Putin’s closest friends.
Valery Tsepkalo wrote on Twitter, “According to preliminary information, subject to further confirmation, Lukashenko was urgently transported to Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital after his closed-door meeting with Putin. Currently, he remains under medical care there.”
The president of Belarus is still receiving treatment from top doctors who are working to “address his critical condition” and have already purified his blood.
As a result, he added, Lukashenko is currently in a “non-transportable” situation.

There have been persistent rumors about Lukashenko’s health. The president of Belarus left Russia earlier this month after missing lunch with Vladimir Putin because of the Victory Day celebration in Moscow. Multiple outlets reported that Lukashenko sported a bandage on his right hand and appeared exhausted.
Some time later, he denied the rumors, adding, “I’m not going to di*, guys. You’ll have to struggle with me for a very long time to come.”
During a meeting in early May, Lukashenko reportedly said that he had been sick with an adenovirus, a common cold virus. He had added, “If someone thinks I am going to di*, calm down,” and that he was fine again within three days.
