Black was a talented musician who was reportedly the orchestra’s principal oboist. She passed away from a pericardial infection-related abrupt cardiac arrest. It seemed that the news of her premature passing startled and grieved the people of Lakeland.

Her brother Varn Michael Black, her friend Calum Muldoon, her parents Jenny Rebecca and Norman Larry Black, Jr., and her parents will all miss her.
According to Black’s death notice, the adolescent was a kind person who always acted morally. According to the teen’s family, the burial will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

How Did Julia Black’s Loved Ones React on Her Death?
After Julia Black, a Harrison junior and recognized honor student as well as a prominent volunteer in her community, passed away suddenly, the community is grieving. Lakeland High School shared on Facebook, “Always on our minds, forever in our hearts. Julia will forever be Nulli Secundus.”
On the Lakeland High School varsity volleyball team, Black was well-liked as a loyal teammate and an intensely compassionate teenager. The deceased teenager, who was reportedly a girls’ volleyball coach since 2021, was honored at the St. Paul Volleyball camp in Lakeland.
In a Facebook post, the camp hailed Black as an amazing mentor who inspired young people to take up the sport. As they said:
“It was with a very heavy heart that I let you know that one of our coaches, Julia Black, passed away unexpectedly Friday night.”
