Tish Naghise Cause Of Death
Letitia “Tish” Naghise died on Wednesday after being treated at Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital. It was reported that a fatal sickness was the cause of death. In Georgia’s House District 68, which encompasses parts of Atlanta’s suburbs in southern Fulton and northern Fayette counties, Naghise, a Fayetteville native, first won the Democratic primary and then the general election.

Kaleb McMichen, a spokesman for House Speaker Jon Burns, confirmed on Wednesday that Letitia “Tish” Naghise, a freshman representative in the Georgia House, had passed away. Wan Smith, a friend and former coworker of Naghise, verified that she had been hospitalised at Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital for several days before to her death. Her untimely demise has yet to be explained.
A 59-year-old Fayetteville resident, Naghise won the Democratic primary for House District 68, which includes parts of northern Fayette and southern Fulton counties and is located in the Atlanta suburbs. After defeating a Republican in the primary, she went on to win the election.
Her website states that Naghise started interested in Democratic politics in 2008, when Barack Obama was running for president. Smith, who oversaw Naghise at an environmental advocacy group called the Georgia Conservation Voters Education Fund, remarked that she was a dedicated leader who worked in a variety of capacities in addition to her work in the legislature.
