Fabrizio Romano talked about Fabian Ruiz’s future on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, where he discussed the rumors of Arsenal and Newcastle interested in the player.
These two Premier League clubs are apparently interested in signing the Napoli midfielder, and according to Romano, the Spaniard could end up in England.
Napoli’s Romano said that before making any moves, he will meet with his representatives to decide on his future. Before making any decisions, he wants to know what those plans are for Napoli’s future.

Romano discussed Ruiz’s condition with the others.
It’s true that he’s a great player, and I think he has a good shot at it. As of right now, he isn’t negotiating with teams like Newcastle, despite reports to the contrary. Before everything, he wants to know what Napoli intends to accomplish. His current deal expires in 2023, so he’ll meet with his agents to discuss his options before making a final decision this summer. Many clubs are keeping an eye on him, so he has a chance in the Premier League and La Liga,” Romano stated.

Ruiz’s future at Napoli appears to be in doubt.
The man is obviously sought, but it sounds as if he’s willing to listen to Napoli’s intentions and stay in Italy.
Ruiz, to be fair, isn’t to blame. While Arsenal and Newcastle can’t promise him Champions League football this season, it appears that he has found a home in Naples.
It’s something to keep an eye on, but it’s unlikely to be resolved any time soon.
