A founding member of the hip hop group Terror Squad, Cuban Link, has confirmed the passing of Charlie Rock LD. In the late ’90s and early ’00s, Terror Squad was a popular hip hop group.
Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, became famous thanks to their songs “What’s Luv” and “All The Way Up.” DJ Khaled’s stardom skyrocketed in conjunction with that of the Terror Squad. However, it appears that the group has suffered another loss with the de@th of Charlie Rock LD.

Sadly, Charlie Rock LD isn’t the only member of the Terror Squad music collaborative to have passed away. Big Pun (born Christopher Rios) passed away from a heart att@ck at the age of 28. On February 7, 2000, in New York City, Big Pun left this world.

Terror Squad as a whole hasn’t met up in over a decade, but its members are all still alive and well. Fat Joe, Tony Sunshine, Cuban Link, Armageddon, DJ Khaled, Remy Ma, Cool & Dre, Prospect, Triple Seis, and 5ive Mics are among the group’s surviving members.
Exactly Who Was Charlie Rock LD?
Charlie Rock LD was an early member of Terror Squad, but he was incarcerated at the group’s peak popularity. At age 18, Charlie was given a sentence of 10-20 years “for not rattin on my homie,” as he says on his YouTube channel. There’s also the whole “shank fight defending Fat Joe,” a member of the Terror Squad, that he claims to have been in.
According to his YouTube channel, after serving his time in pris0n, Charlie Rock LD “reinvented” himself by becoming a life counselor. Later in life, Charlie became a youth counselor, motivational speaker, and host of the podcast Reppin’ Da Real, in which he discussed his life and hip hop culture. The de@th of Charlie Rock LD was confirmed on May 6 by Cuban Link on Instagram, a member of the Terror Squad. In light of the tragic news, one fan tweeted, “RIP to a Bronx legend.”
“This really breaks my heart.” A buddy wrote, “He was such a good person.” There has been no official announcement regarding the cause of de@th. Nonetheless, there are rumors that Charlie Rock LD di*d of a heart att@ck.
