Local authorities have confirmed that a Google software engineer, age 31, committed su*cide on Thursday night. The unnamed man was the second Google employee to commit su*cide in as many months when he plummeted to his de@th from the building’s rooftop in New York City. Officials believe that Google employee Jacob Pratt, 33, committed su*cide in February outside his Manhattan office.

Late on Thursday, a senior software worker at Google’s Manhattan headquarters leaped to his de@th from the building’s 14th level. Authorities have yet to notify the man’s family, so they are keeping his identity under wraps, as reported by New York Post.
A source from the NYPD told the New York Post that many 911 calls were made after an unconscious person was discovered laying on the ground across from a 15-story Art Deco building on West 15th Street. The responding officers discovered the man unconscious at the scene. At Bellevue Hospital, where he was rushed, doctors pronounced him de@d.
