In July 1988, Antonio Brown was born in Miami, Florida. In high school, he was a wide receiver and punt returner for Miami Norland. Brown was a two-time First-team All-American and MAC Special Teams Player of the Year during his time playing collegiate football at Central Michigan.

Antonio Brown has made more than $80.7 million during his professional football career. The Steelers initially offered him a three-year contract worth $1.288 million. He made $393,000 in his first year and $450,000 the next year.
Antonio signed a 5-year, $42 million agreement with the Steelers before entering his third NFL season in 2012, increasing his annual salary to $9 million. Without all the drama, he would have made well over $100 million in his career.

On April 15, Albany Empire paid its fees, but the league has now learned that the money was refunded to Brown, who has not yet paid for the months of May and June. In addition, he was hit with a $1,000 fine for “Conduct Detrimental to the League” for making public remarks that cast doubt on the team’s long-term viability.
Brown had claimed that the Albany Empire will finish out the season in the NAL, but would relocate to the Arena Football League (AFL) following year, less than 24 hours before the league confirmed the withdrawal of the club. The AFL, an updated version of the original arena league, has not yet announced whether or not the Albany Empire will be one of its 16 teams.
Saturday’s postponed home game against Jacksonville had been Brown’s return to the lineup. Since he purchased the franchise, the former NFL great has been plagued by scandal, including failing to pay his teammates.
