What is Zatch Bell About?
The story of Zatch Bell takes place on Earth, where the titular character teams up with Kiyomaru Takamine, a 14-year-old boy. Kiyomaru is a lone wolf that doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself. He’s a top student with an inflated ego who doesn’t appear to care about anything. Zatch Bell’s announcement that Kiyo would be his master in a demon fight royale has him stumped.
This is Zatch Bell’s goal: to win the tournament that provides a Mamodo the right to rule their planet, which Zatch is a member of. As Zatch and Kiyo compete for the championship title, they encounter both friends and opponents along the way in this action-adventure comedy series. Kiyo and Zatch gain new perspectives and perspectives on values and lessons from their mutual experience.

Toonami showed Zatch Bell’s episodes from 2003 to 2006, when the show was on Cartoon Network. Because streaming platforms like Crunchyroll and Funimation didn’t exist at the time, there was no way to see them.
