Who Is James Blunt?
James Blunt, now 47 years old, is a former British army officer who fought in the Kosovo conflict in 1998 and 1999. He was born in Hampshire. His first album, 2004’s Back to Bedlam, was the best-selling album in the United Kingdom for the whole decade.
The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021), a compilation of his best work, will be released on November 19. The tour will begin in February of next year in the United Kingdom. He has two kids with his wife and they all live in Ibiza.

James Blunt Assists Iam Tongi Through an Emotional Duet Of Monsters
The season finale of American Idol included an emotional duet between winner Iam Tongi and James Blunt, as revealed by UNILAD.
After an incredible emotional roller coaster throughout the season, Hawaii native Tongi, now 18 years old, was joined on stage by Blunt to perform his smash tune “Monsters.” In the video, Tongi can be seen holding back tears.
Tongi had previously auditioned with the song, a touching ballad about a father and son, which he dedicated to his late father. Watch the moving performance in the tweet below:

Tongi has said that his father, Rodney, who passed away a few months before his audition, was largely responsible for his introduction to the world of music.
Judge Lionel Richie gushed, “I was not worried about whether you were going to make it through the song, I was worried about whether we were going to make it through the song. Your daddy is very proud.”
Katy Perry, another judge on American Idol, chimed in, “What a fantastic song to pick. You’re making these grown men cry.”
After 21 seasons, Friday night’s (21 May) three-hour finale brought the show to a close, and it was evident that Tongi had come full circle when Blunt joined him to sing a duet of the song.
Tongi started having trouble remembering the lines less than a minute into the performance, and he was spotted wiping tears from his face. Tongi gazed into his eyes for encouragement, and the ‘You’re Beautiful’ singer stepped in to help him finish the song.
After their performance, the two gave each other a warm embrace as the crowd cheered wildly. Viewers at home were clearly moved by the performance as well, as many have taken to social media in droves to express their gratitude and appreciation.
