Who will be in The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Season 2’s cast?

One concrete fact we do know about “The Devil Is a Part-Timer!” The cast for Season 2 has been announced. At the very least, we now have an idea of who will be appearing in the Japanese dub. The good news for fans of this series is that all of the main actors from Season 1 will return for Season 2. However, it’s not clear if this applies to international dubs.

This is a shame for the dub-enjoyers out there, who can no longer be sure that they’re favourite characters will carry the same voice. Even so, several of the show’s English-speaking voice actors have expressed a desire to return via social media (via Twitter). The English dub of Season 2 will receive the same treatment as the Japanese version, even if this isn’t a definitive confirmation of their return.

What will The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Season 2’s plot focus on?

Season 1 of “The Devil Is a Part-Timer!” wrapped up with the aftermath of a battle between Sadao and the angel Sariel. Even though they were once rivals, Sadao and Emi (the modern name for Emilia) seem to have built a strong and positive relationship as they share a happy occasion with Shirou. In the final episode, she shows up to rescue Sadao from the rain.

The original light novel will need to be adapted for many more volumes, however. If White Fox stays true to its source material, we can expect to see Emi and Sadao’s relationship deepen as more supernatural beings join the fray. Volume 3, in particular, kicks off when the group discovers a golden apple which births a small girl claiming to be the child of Sadao and Emi. Comedy and suspense ensue as the couple and their friends deal with parenthood as well as other issues.
