She-Hulk VS Scarlet Witch

She-hulk Star Wants to Defend Scarlet Witch After Doctor Strange 2

When Disney+ launches on August 18, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is sure to infuriate Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany as Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters adjusting to her newfound identity as She-Hulk, is Marvel Studios’ first half-hour legal comedy.

The cast also includes Mark Ruffalo as Professor Hulk, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Tim Roth as the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. Tatiana Maslany plays She-Hulk.

In contrast, the premise of She-Hulk is that Jennifer Walters is a lawyer at a superhuman law firm, so the series promises an additional cast of characters and cameos, including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, fresh off the announcement of Daredevil: Born Again at Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

She-Hulk may be one of the most interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Disney+ shows, but the show’s star has her ideas about which MCU characters she’d like to see in court.

Tatiana Maslany told Phase Zero, “I feel like Wanda has had some tough times,” when asked which Marvel villain she would defend in court.

In Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlet Witch was thought to have committed suicide, but there is evidence to suggest otherwise. Furthermore, shouldn’t the people of Westview be compensated for what they went through in WandaVision?

In terms of the history of Marvel characters, Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk has collaborated with other heroes on numerous occasions in the comics.

Maslany said that the idea of She-Hulk appearing in future Marvel ensembles is “so scary to me,” but that she respects the MCU’s impressive roster of talent.

When asked if Jennifer Walters could serve as a group leader in the MCU, the actress behind She-Hulk said, “I think she would be terrible at it:”

Justice for Wanda Maximoff

Even though audiences probably won’t see Jennifer Walters defend the Scarlet Witch anytime soon, Maslany isn’t alone in recognizing that Wanda’s been through a lot.

Fans debated throughout Disney+’s WandaVision about whether or not Wanda was to blame. Her villainous reputation has been bolstered by her violent behavior in Doctor Strange 2, but this is debatable.

Wanda’s best defense is probably what she said to Doctor Strange: “You break the rules and become a hero. I do it and I become the enemy. That doesn’t seem fair.”

A new TV spot has revealed that El Aguila, Man-Bull, Saracen, and Porcupine will be among the villains that She-Hulk defends in Attorney at Law. None of these characters have previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
