There is no doubt that Pretty Smart was one of Netflix’s most underappreciated new shows of the past year. People who saw the show didn’t like it very much, but fans who gave it a chance fell in love with its charms.
Alums of Hannah Montana and Young and Hungry used to be on this TV show. Emily Osment played Chelsea, an aspiring author who was forced to live with her bouncy sister and three wacky housemates. Emily Osment was the star of the great cast. They don’t get along very well with each other because they come from different cultures.
The 10-episode first season of the sitcom debuted in October 2021, but it was not an instant blockbuster. Hopefully, Netflix has different criteria for its humour than it does for its big hits like Stranger Things and You, which would pave the route for Pretty Smart season 2 to begin.
The status of Pretty Smart after January 2022 is still a mystery, as Netflix has yet to make an official declaration. As a result, the sitcom won’t be returning at the start of the year, according to the comprehensive list of new releases movies and shows in January.

Predictions for the release date of Pretty Smart Season 2:
The release date of season 2 on Netflix remains a mystery as of this writing on February 18, 2022, because no official decision has been made. The programme shouldn’t take too long to script, film, and edit, so an autumn 2022 debut date is plausible.
Depending on whether Netflix agrees to approve Pretty Smart season 2, new episodes could be available as soon as October 2022. Of course, this is merely a forecast, and the season could vary in either direction.

What is the storyline of Pretty Smart Season 2?
Season one of “Pretty Smart” ended abruptly with Claire (Olivia Macklin) kissing Grant after breaking up with Dave (Kevin Miles) (Gregg Sulkin). This happens as Chelsea (Emily Osment) enters the room to tell her sister that Grant is on her mind and she wants to speak with her about it first to make sure Claire is alright with the idea of getting involved with him.
What’s going to happen to this love triangle? Season 2’s most pressing problem will almost certainly be this one. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen in Season 2,” Osment admitted to Entertainment Tonight. “As a result, I’m really looking forward to seeing it.”

Sulkin also claimed that he didn’t know whose sister he’d prefer Grant to be within Season 2. “Grant and Claire have a delightful naivety, while Grant and Chelsea show genuine growth and maturation. Grant has learned a lot from Chelsea… Olivia and Emily are both excellent to work with, so I’ll be thrilled with any route the authors take it.”
For the record, Michael Hsu Rosen and Cinthya Carmona told Entertainment Tonight that they want Grant and Chelsea to be married. That’s clearly where things are going, but there will undoubtedly be some family tension in Season 2 before we get there.
