The Appearance of Piccolo

Piccolo, like Goku, frequently trains while wearing weighted garments. When his cape is damaged when fighting Frieza in his second form, and again when his cape is damaged by Lord Slug’s minions, it is seen that there is weighted padding underneath. Piccolo Jr.’s clothing was more distinctive by the time he battled the Androids because it had evolved over the series.
