What are Peaky Blinders about?
Taking place in the early 1900s in England, Peaky Blinders follows a gang of outlaws who sew razor blades into the crests of their baseball caps. Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy), the gang’s ruthless leader, returns to Birmingham with his brothers after serving in the British Army during World War I.
In Birmingham, Shelby and the Peaky Blinders rule the city, but Shelby’s aspirations extend beyond the city limits, and he intends to expand his economic empire and thwart anybody who attempts to stand in his way.
Is Peaky Blinders a true story?
Even though Peaky Blinders is based on a true story, the narratives have been made up by the show’s authors to fit the medium. The Peaky Blinders were a Birmingham street gang that existed from the 1880s to the 1910s, and they were based in Birmingham.
To blind their foes, they are said to have headbutted them with razor blades stitched into their caps. The moniker Peaky Blinders was coined as a result of this.
When is Peaky Blinders series 6 on TV?

The BBC released a new trailer for Peaky Blinders season 6 on New Year’s Day, and it appears like the Shelby family is going out with a whirlwind of activity.
“This will be the end of it,” Tommy (Cillian Murphy) declares in the new teaser as the team faces a formidable foe.
“Take a close look, Tom. One of us isn’t going to be here for long,” Ada (Sophie Rundle), Tommy’s sister, tells him later in the movie.
There was speculation among fans that Tommy would not survive the series, but with a sequel in the works, we hope that’s not the case.
A rally of fascist Blackshirts led by Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) is shown in the trailer, and Tommy appears to be planning his revenge on him.
Finally, Tommy declares, “The Peaky Blinders will rest.”
After actress Helen McCrory’s death in April 2021, the fate of Shelby’s matriarch Aunt Polly remains a mystery in the trailer.

Both Annabelle Wallis and Natasha O’Keeffe (Tommy’s second wife, who was assassinated several series ago) have hinted that they may return as Tommy’s ghostly first wife Grace.
Black Mirror’s Amber Anderson and BAFTA Rising Star candidate Conrad Khan have also been added to the cast.
It’s plausible that Anderson may be portraying the deadly mystery woman Byrne suggested, but their characters haven’t been unveiled yet.

Jason Williamson as Lazarus (cameo)
Peaky Blinders’ final episode featured a brief visit by vocalist Jason Williamson of the Sleaford Mods.
Williamson portrays Lazarus, a shouting preacher armed with a machine pistol and roaring language, in the film.

What happens in Peaky Blinders series 6?
The last season of Peaky Blinders will end on a high note, that much is certain.
You can anticipate it to be as gruesome as ever in this final complete season of the show.

Oswald Mosley, leader of the fascist party, will appear in the second series, but it’s not yet certain if Tommy will continue to work against the party from the inside or if he will come out as antagonistic to Mosley.
This year’s filming for Tommy was recently shown in a red-lit warehouse-style space in Berlin.
Tommy could follow Mosley to Germany this season, as he was a well-known friend of Adolf Hitler and even married Diana Mitford at Joseph Goebbels’ residence with Hitler in attendance.
A new, “very dark” female character will appear in Peaky Blinders, and Byrne says she possesses “an ideology that’s like a virus and it’s more destructive than anything.”
As we wait to see if Finn will admit to sharing information about the Mosley assassination plan, things could get tense among the Shelbys.
Tommy’s first wife Grace (Annabelle Wallis), who was killed off in series three but has reappeared in Tommy’s visions, may also make a return. Her character “has some unfinished business,” according to a tweet from Wallis.
