Paradise PD Season 4: What We Know So Far!

Season 3 of “Paradise PD” was released on Netflix on March 12, 2021, and it has already been finished by the majority of fans. Throughout the season, “Paradise PD” has provided us with even more laugh-out-loud moments and cringeworthy scenes that would make your parents uncomfortable. The season finale, however, has opened up a new range of possibilities for the characters of the animated series. After Giant Dobby has ravaged Paradise and taken a few Paradise Police Department officers hostage, this is especially true. We can only sit and speculate about the team’s future as we eagerly await the start of the next season.

Thankfully, Season 4 is in the works, and there is plenty to discuss what’s going to happen after the previous events. Although we likely will not see the new season for some time, we can still look at the earlier seasons and make some educated guesses regarding the release date, cast, and plot. Here’s what we know so far about “Paradise PD’s” fourth season.

When will Season 4 arrive?

The first thing we need to know is when Season 4 will arrive. Creators Roger Black and Waco O’Guin have yet to announce anything, but they signed a multi-year partnership with Netflix in late January, per a Twitter post.

Even though no official release date has been set, we can go by history to get an idea of when to expect it. Season 1 debuted on the 31st of August, 2018 on Netflix. Both the first and second halves of Season 2 were released on separate dates: March 6th, 2020, and March 12th, 2021, respectively. According to this, Season 4 will be released next year, most likely around March of 2022. The decision to release it in parts, like Season 2, is undecided right now.

Official announcements of release dates have not been made regularly, which is a shame. The production team will most likely announce the date toward the end of 2021 when an accurate date is more feasible.

Who will be in Season 4?

When the time comes, the show’s cast could look a little different at first. As most of the Paradise Police Department’s officers were either eaten by Giant Dobby or were otherwise absent, Season 3 left us with many unanswered questions. We can infer who will be back for Season 4 based on this episode.

The chief, his wife, and Dusty were all seen at the end of the Season 3 finale, signaling their likely return. Being that the chief and Dusty are two of the show’s main protagonists, this is almost to be expected.

Hopson, Fitz, and Bullet were all swallowed by Giant Dobby at the season finale, offering little insight into what would happen to them next. Gina, the bridesmaid who disappeared after the wedding was called off, makes an appearance as well. Kevin’s fate is also unknown, as fans saw him throughout Season 3, but not at the end of the finale.

Kevin’s unborn brother, who is constantly seeking vengeance, is the final character who could return for Season 4. This late character addition could potentially serve as the main plot of the new season.

What can we expect from the plot of Season 4?

At the end of Season 3, Paradise is in shambles. The town is destroyed by Giant Dobby, who has eaten almost half of the Paradise PD team. There are many questions left to be answered after the season finale. How is Paradise going to rebuild after this disaster? How did Hopson, Fitz, and Bullet end up where they did? Is this Gina’s final appearance?

For these answers, we might have to examine Season 3 a little deeper. To correct some of these issues, it appears that going back in time is the only option. One possible plot of Season 4 is the chief using his portal gun from Season 3 to fix some of these problems. With this device, he would have the ability to go back and deal with Dobby appropriately and save his team.

We may also have a surprise return from Gina, who stormed off after being ashamed for realizing the power she has with her fists. Taking on Giant Dobby at the outset of the new season may be a good fit for this. Is it possible that Gina will make a comeback to take on Giant Dobby all by herself?

Finally, there’s Kevin’s unborn brother, who is speculated to be born this season. The Paradise Police Department will have a lot more work to do if that happens.
