What is Kaiju No 8 About?
Terrorizing monsters known as Kaijus run amok in Japan, wreaking devastation on the populace at large. It was inevitable that a group dedicated to battling monsters would need to be formed. To ensure the safety of its populace, the military has formed the elite Defense Corps. The Professional Kaiju Cleaner Corporation, on the other hand, sends sweepers to collect the carcass once the kaiju has been killed.
Kafka Hibino is a regular guy who lives a boring existence. He despises his job as a corporate sweeper since he is constantly behind the scenes. The 32-year-dream old’s job involves killing kaijus for a living as a member of the Defense Corps. He finally comes to terms with his situation and keeps working as a sweeper despite his best efforts. Kafka’s renewed interest in joining the Defense Corps is in large part due to the addition of Leno Ichikawa, a seemingly enthusiastic young guy who quickly becomes a member of Kafka’s team.
Unfortunately for Kafka, he meets a parasite-like kaiju that transforms him into a kaiju with human features. He learns that even after his kaiju form has taken over, he still retains his conscious self and is given the name Kaiju No 8. Finally able to put his superhuman abilities to use, he assists the defensive corps in their struggle against the Kaijus.
When Will Kaiju No 8 Anime Release?
Although there has been no official word on whether or not an anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8 will be made, rumors suggest that production may have begun and that an ensemble cast is already in place. Among the newest shonen manga, Kaiju No. 8 is one of the most buzzworthy potential anime adaptations.
The anime adaption of Kaiju no.8 has been confirmed by the ever-reliable leaker @Spanku u. That is to say, the groundwork for announcing an anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8 has been laid. Although how long we have to wait to find out is currently unknown. However, it is expected that the first information about the project would be disclosed at Anime Expo 2022.
An ominous post from the verified account suggests that we will learn something about Kaiju No. 8 on August 5 at 00:00 JST. Promotional panels suggest that it is associated with the Japanese animation and film studio Toho Co. Ltd. In other words, the big announcement for “Kaiju No. 8” will feature the Toho Animation Production Company on August 5th.
As for the production schedule, there have been no further announcements or updates regarding the production studio that could suggest the Kaiju No 8 anime adaptation has been greenlit.
