Fortnite Is Collaborating With The Star Wars For The May 4th Event
Epic Games has announced that the weaponry and characters from the galaxy far, far away are making a triumphant return to Fortnite ahead of Star Wars Day on May the 4th.
The return of Star Wars-themed weaponry, skins, and challenges to Fortnite Battle Royale and Zero Build was announced in a blog post on the Epic Games website and will run from May 3 until May 17. Among these weapons are four distinct lightsaber designs.
You can choose a traditional lightsaber color like Luke’s green or Obi-Wan’s blue, or you can choose for something a little more offbeat like Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber or Kylo Ren’s shoddy design. Whatever your position on the Force may be, you have a choice.

The classic E-11 Blaster, the weapon of choice for the typical Stormtrooper and the weapon utilized by the Mandalorian Boss in Chapter 2: Season 5 of the famous title, is also making its way into the game. The weapon is back, and this time it’s in the hands of the players to employ in their quest for the ultimate prize: the Royale Victory.
New tasks have been added to the game, and they will be playable until May 17th. In this context, “using Jedi contraband” refers to the use of a lightsaber or other Star Wars-related equipment. When a player completes all five May the 4th Quests, they will receive an Empire Banner as a prize.
Every outfit that isn’t part of the Battle Pass will also be available again in the game’s Item Shop. The Imperial Stormtrooper, Kylo Ren, Zorii Bliss, Finn, Rey, the Sith Trooper, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, and Krrsantan will all be available as returning character skins. The resurrected Emperor’s message that begins the events of Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker was also the culmination of a crossover event between Fortnite and Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, which was notably left out of the film itself.
The Star Wars return to Fortnite will begin on May 3 and go through May 17. Happy Star Wars Day!
