The Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He received the nickname “Hollywood” from sportscaster Gus Johnson during his collegiate years at Oklahoma, where he was born on June 4, 1997. Brown’s football career began when he was a youngster, playing Pop Warner football alongside future NFL standout Lamar Jackson.
He went to South Broward High School and excelled in football and track and field. He later relocated to Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School, where he continued to excel in both sports.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Marquise Brown 25th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, giving him the team’s first wide receiver selection. He had a terrific start to his rookie season, scoring two touchdowns of more than 40 yards against the Miami Dolphins.
He was the Ravens’ second-leading receiver at the end of the season. Brown had a few memorable moments in 2020, including a game-saving touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. He had a fantastic year, gaining 769 yards and scoring eight times.
He changed his jersey number in 2021 and proceeded to play well with the Ravens. He was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 and had a solid start to the season before being injured.
