Gary Owen’s Divorce: Gary Owen has had a lot of success as a comedian over the years. Owen started his career in 1997 on BET’s Comic View. Since then, he’s done well on both the big and small screens. He was in movies like “Daddy Day Care,” “Little Man,” and “Think Like a Man.” Gary was doing well at work, and he was also doing well in his personal life.
The funny man married Kenya Burke in 2003. But after 18 years of marriage and three kids, the couple just announced that they are splitting up. Most divorces aren’t easy, but these two are making things worse.

But after getting angry on Kenyan social media, the comedian decided he didn’t want to talk about it in public. It turns out that Kenya’s divorce rants were the only way she could talk to Gary, who she says is ignoring her phone calls and texts and those of their children.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, Gary Own is being asked by Kenya to pay her a lot of money every month. Kenya thinks the comedian owes her $3,333.33 per month because he is worth $3 million and has taken care of her family’s business for the past 17 years.

People magazine has a stack of court documents that show Kenya filed for divorce in March and has now followed up with a Request for Order of Support (RFO for Support) because Gary has stopped paying the thousands of dollars in child support they were getting.
Duke wrote in the RFO for help, “I was trying to work things out with my husband in a friendly way, but he has left me with no choice but to file this RFO for Support.”
Kenya has been married to Gary for almost 17 years. “I gave up my successful job as an account manager 23 years ago so I could focus on Gary’s career full-time,” Kenya said.
Kenya Duke is now asking Gary Owen for $44,000 a month, the amount often deposited into their account throughout their marriage. Kenya used to pay “bills, credit cards, and personal expenses for me and the kids,” she said.
Besides that! Kenya asked for a one-time payment of $88,000 in addition to $44,000 per month for the next four years.
This was to make up for the fact that “he hasn’t given me money for the past two months.” Even though they may have tried to hide the fact that they were getting a divorce at first, things quickly got bad between them.
