Blue Lock Plot and Synopsis
Kodansha Comics has added a synopsis for the story:
Before this, a number of well-known soccer anime were produced. Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven are excellent starting points for fans of the genre and sports alike. What distinguishes Blue Lock? The ‘Power of Friendship’ cliché is quite popular in anime, however, Blue Lock doesn’t do it very well. No superpower sports like Kuroko no Basuke appear in the series. While these shows have left a lasting impression on viewers, Blue Lock makes a significant diversion from the norm.
Superpowers are absent from the show’s characters, and neither is the sense of camaraderie that is inherent in team sports. Instead of establishing a benevolent representation of the athletes, the series celebrates their competitiveness, egoism, and self-centeredness.
The search for the egotistical striker who can bring Japan glory is the focus of Blue Lock, a visually spectacular story. Isayama Hajime, the creator of Attack on Titan, has also endorsed the series. In the past, he worked as an assistant to the great Iwamoto.
director, Taku Kishimoto as script supervisor, Yukata Uemura as concept advisors, Kenji Tanabe as a chief animator, and Kento Toya and Masaru Shindo as character designers, they will all work together to bring the anime to life in the form of a television series. The soundtrack will be handled by Jun Murayama!
Blue Lock Anime Release Date
Eight Bit Studios, the company behind Tokyo Ravens and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, will produce the anime. As of now, there is no word on the release date of the anime. Since it has a 2022 release date and the trailer is out, it’s possible that the anime will be released in the spring or summer.
As of right now, it’s unclear if Tokyo Revengers-style 24-episode releases or a split-course approach similar to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will be used for the anime. However, there is enough manga to feel any of the media, but the translation must keep the manga in mind. When an anime deviates too far from the source material, it is panned by critics and canceled.
Where to watch Blue Lock English Dub?
A Blue Lock English dub has yet to be announced for any time in the future. Because of its huge fanbase and anticipated release, it is almost certain that Crunchyroll or Funimation or a famous dubbing platform will provide an English dub for this anime adaptation of the manga.
