Is There Going To Be Another Spider-Verse Or Miles Morales Film?

According to Sony’s officials, yes. Producers Amy Pascal and Avi Arad recently confirmed to Variety that both an animated “Spider-Woman” spinoff movie centered on Across the Spider-Verse’s Gwen Stacy and a live-action film centered on Miles Morales were still in development at the studio.

Pascal also mentioned that Sony is developing a fourth live-action Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland, but that the film’s pre-production has been put on hold while the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers settle their contract negotiations. It’s possible that the Spider-Woman and live-action Miles movies haven’t been affected by the writers’ strike because they are still in the very early stages of production. Pascal and Arad, whose entire careers have been dedicated to Spider-franchise sequels, are confident that their films will be successful, but only time will tell.
