Bad Bunny Becomes The Most Loved WWE Wrestler! Here’s How He Got Injured In Match

Aside from being one of the most famous artists in the world, the Puerto Rican performer has also been a professional wrestler since the Royal Rumble in 2017. He has already participated in many matches and a Royal Rumble, giving fans great moments like him pounding the CRAP out of The Miz. Here’s his one of the iconic entrances in WWE:

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest battled it out in a live San Juan Street Fight from Backlash. Taking a bump that sends them over an entire table is something even less common for star wrestlers. From memory, the only thing that comes close to Bad Bunny’s one-on-one street brawl with Damian Priest is Johnny Knoxville’s match against Sami Zayn at WrestleMania last year.

How Did He Got Injured?

In San Juan, Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny took down and beat Damian Priest. In this “street fighter” edition of the pay-per-view event, he made his entry with a shopping cart filled of chains, bats, folding chairs, and sticks. Members of the Latin World Order, including Finn Balor, Carlito, and Dominik Mysterio, teamed up with Bad Bunny and the legendary Rey Mysterio.

After the battle, Damian posted a photo to Instagram of Bad Bunny’s injuries after sending him over a table near the technical area. He took off his shirt to reveal scrapes and bruises on his back, in contrast to the pristine back he showed off at the Met Gala just a few days earlier. Take a look at those bruises.

The bout was decided by Bad Bunny using his signature wrestling maneuver, the Bunny Destroyer, on Damien. The contest was hailed as “one of the best matches ever” by fans throughout social media. A fan tweeted: “Back in 2021, Bad Bunny was professing his love for WWE and pro wrestling I bet few people paid attention to his words before he made his wrestling debut & today he is The Greatest Celebrity Wrestler Of All Time.”

A second spectator commented that the show itself should have been the highlight. In my opinion, WWE took a HUGE loss by not booking Bad Bunny and Damian Priest as the show’s main event. The two had it coming to them, and look what happened. Think about it: in the same ring, you have Rey Mysterio, LWO, Bad Bunny, Savio Vega, and Carlito. That’s a picture to leave you with…. #WWEBacklash.
