MASTERPIECE: World on Fire Season 2: What Can We Expect? BOWKER: Kasia and Lois will meet in Season 2, and the fallout from that, I believe, will be fascinating for everyone. Season 2 will begin with the blitz in the Northwest of England, which is where it all began in Season 1. In addition, the continent of North Africa will be a hotbed of conflict in the coming years. We’ll learn more about Webster’s ancestry in the coming days.
Near the beginning of the series, Nancy will be forced to leave Berlin due to stepping over a line, and we will learn more about Nancy in the process.

Zophia Wichlacz: Season 2 Hopes for Kasia
MASTERPIECE: As Season 1 comes to a close, Kasia looks up the hill and sees Harry, and we’re left wondering whether she’ll go up to him or stay and fight! If Kasia had a second season, what would you like to see happen to her WICHLACZ:
In any case, I’m not saying anything about the author’s ideas… The only hope I have for Kasia is that, despite everything she’s been through, she still has something inside of her that wants her to fight even harder than she already is.
In 1940 and 1941, the Jewish people were in real danger, so she may have fought for them. In theory, yes, but that’s just an idea I had in my head at the time. Because I believe that Kasia does not allow herself to make her own decisions about her own well-being. So much has changed, for example, with Harry, that she can’t just run away with him to a safe England. For her, it would be a piece of cake.”
Julia Brown: Season 2 Hopes for Lois
MASTERPIECE: Season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, leaving us to wonder, what now? Was there ever any doubt that she’d tie the knot with Vernon? When it comes to Season 2, how do you feel about Lois’s prospects? BROWN: I’m at a loss! I think she’s being very practical in her decision with Vernon, thinking about her baby and how she’ll be able to provide for a family.
In addition, he’s a wonderful person and a wonderful guy. It’s possible that she’s tricked into saying “yes” when she thinks she’ll lose that freedom. I believe the situation’s realism will sink in.
I wish she and Vernon could stay friends, but I think she should put her priorities in order now that she’s over Harry and has a newborn to take care of. In the meantime, let’s hope for a resolution.
He says to her, “You don’t have to love me; you just have to let me.” That’s the tragic thing about Vernon. That’s what I’m expecting to happen. But I don’t know if she’ll fall in love with him or not. The drama isn’t over yet, in my opinion.
