Tulsi Tanti Age: Tulsi Tanti, the Head of Suzlon Energy, Has Died!

Tulsi Tanti, founder, chairman, and managing director of Suzlon Energy passed away on October 1 from cardiac arrest, according to a news release. Tanti, at 64 years old, was well recognized as a leading authority in the field of renewable energy.

PTI cited an official as saying that Tanti, who was also the chairman of the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association, had a cardiac arrest while traveling from Ahmedabad to Pune.

His children Nidhi and Pranav will carry on his legacy.

Tanti founded Suzlon Energy in 1995, which marked the beginning of the wind energy revolution in India.

During a period when overseas players dominated the global wind energy market and the field was characterized by expensive and difficult technology that was mainly unviable for traditional enterprises, he saw an opportunity in India’s renewable energy sector.
