How Wealthy Is Rich Homie Quan? Criticized Roddy Ricch And DJ Drama After Feature Is Cut

Dequantes Devontay Lamar, better known as Quan, was born on October 4, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia. His favorite classes in school were literature and creative writing. He was a four-year varsity baseball player who hoped to make it to the major leagues.

Although he had obtained a baseball scholarship to attend Fort Valley State University, he ultimately decided not to play there. Quan’s first mixtape, titled “Still Going,” was released in 2012, and he began touring with Trinidad James the following year.

Quan’s third mixtape, “Still Goin In: Reloaded,” featuring the song “Type of Way,” was released in August of 2013. The New York Times gave the song a positive review, calling Quan one of Atlanta’s emerging generation of rappers.  The US Billboard Top 100 charted “Type Way” at number 50. “Still Goin’ In: Reloaded” was ranked by Rolling Stone as the tenth best mixtape of 2013. Through such hits, he made a massive net worth.

The Compton rapper added, “he’s around,” which isn’t precisely an acceptance of RHQ’s $10 million challenge but also isn’t a rejection of it. The news that Roddy Ricch is to blame for Rich Homie Quan’s absence from DJ Drama’s new single “FMFU” has left him feeling “some sorta way.”

On Tuesday, a fuming RHQ lashed out at Lil Wayne’s co-signers Roddy and Drama, as well as Gucci Mane, who appears on the track but, in RHQ’s opinion, doesn’t have as good a verse as Lil Wayne.

TMZ Hip Hop has confirmed with sources close to the project that, Roddy had nothing to do with it, and if Quan is upset, he should take it up with Drama. RHQ claims he recorded his track for Drama’s “I’m Truly Like That” album last November, but only after he negotiated the feature, since he claims Drama’s crew initially gave him some trash to rap over.

You may check the official tweet by My Mixtapez below in which Rich Homie Quan goes off after word got out that Roddy Ricch had him removed from a song they were on together.

RHQ claims he felt ashamed when it came out last Friday after telling so many people he was involved in the project. He now plans to settle the score with Roddy by betting $10 million on a Verzuz battle.

If you listen to RHQ, Roddy’s sole good record is “The Box,” which has sold more than one hundred thousand copies, and the rest of his discography is complete and utter crap. There’s no way to get the toothpaste back in the tube now… RHQ just said it!!!
