How many seasons are there in Noragami? The Noragami anime series has only lasted two seasons and four OVAs. So yet, there hasn’t been a third season of Noragami. Canonically, each of the four OVAs is based on either a chapter of Noragami or a side storey. It was in January of 2014 when the first season of the Noragami anime was released in Japan. As a result, Noragami’s fan base has grown significantly since its first season.

Season 3 of Noragami has yet to be announced. This does not mean that there will not be a third season of the show, though. In other words, there’s a 50/50 chance of getting a sequel or not. Even though the third season of Noragami would continue the tale that began in season two, no such season is planned. Crunchyroll, Funimation, or even Netflix will not be releasing Noragami season 3 episode 1 at this time.
The third season of Noragami has never been released, and why is that? A third season isn’t going to be a problem because there is plenty of material for it. For whatever reason, this sitcom didn’t do so well financially, especially in the second season. Merchandise for this series has not been updated in years, and manga sales in 2022 are only around 20% of what they used to be. Both the official website and Twitter account have been taken offline. Nothing will generate revenue for this franchise by 2022.
