Patricia Williams was born on April 2, 1972, in Atlanta, Georgia, and she goes by Ms. Pat. Ms. Pat was “born to a single mother of 5, living on welfare in a tough West end neighborhood of Atlanta,” as her official website puts it.
At 14 and 15, she gave birth to two children by a man eight years her senior who had begun s*xually abusing her when she was just 12. Ms. Pat had a history of s*xual abuse at the hands of a man her mother had dated. She started selling drugs under the name “Rabbit” when she was 15 years old, and she was shot twice and arrested multiple times throughout her teenage years.

Ms. Pat’s first stand-up comedy performance was in 2002, at an open mic night at The Pub in Atlanta, and after relocating to Indianapolis in 2006, she began honing her skills at Morty’s.
