Harrison Ford Divorce: According to ABC News, the legendary actor Harrison Ford and screenwriter Melissa Mathison fell in love and married in 1983 on the set of “Apocalypse Now,” when Ford played Colonel Lucas and Mathison served as his assistant.
The couple had two children together, according to Closer Weekly: a son named Malcolm in October 1987 and a daughter named Georgia in June 1990.
Both children carried on with their parents’ careers in the entertainment industry. Georgia has also appeared in a few films, and Malcolm has released two albums with his band The Dough Rollers, and played himself in “Water to Wine.”
Unfortunately, Mathison and Ford’s marriage did not last, and they filed for divorce 18 years after they married, according to People.

Pat McQueeney, Ford’s manager, stated that the couple requested joint custody of Malcolm and Georgia and that the divorce was amicable.
