Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time: How to Get the Platinum Trophy

The path to platinum in Crash Bandicoot 4 is simply because the game is linear. To unlock all Trophies, you will need to replay each level multiple times, and some of the goals are going to be challenging. Following is a suggested sequence of events, however as no steps are required in isolation, you can finish the game in any order you like.

To begin, just focus on playing through the game’s stages normally to unlock the narrative Trophies. Don’t stress out over collecting precious stones or anything. If you have completed the story and want to go back and finish gathering gems, you can do so at any time.

Four different colored gems and, on most levels, six transparent gems can be found (all but the boss stages). The collection of these valuables is rewarded with several Trophies.

Follow the link for our detailed walkthrough revealing the locations of all hidden and colored gems. New outfits for Crash and Coco can be obtained by finding gems. Please refer to our guide, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time – All Skins and How to Unlock Them, for more information on these outfits.

The N. Verted stages come up next. There is an N. A vented version of every stage in the game. You’ll need to complete all of these to unlock a new set of jewels and earn a few more Trophies.

The next step is to track down and complete every Flashback Tape stage. Levels featuring Flashback Tapes need you to complete them without losing a life. In exchange for more Trophies, they grant access to increasingly difficult levels. Play through these stages and collect all of the boxes in a single run to unlock the Platinum Flashback Relics.

N. Sanely Perfect Relics can also be acquired. There is an N. Sanely Perfect Relic in every level, except boss levels. Get most of the Wumpa Fruits, all of the boxes, and all of the gems without dying once, and you’ll earn one of them.

And finally, we have the Time Trial Relics. Time Trials, which award Relics if you complete them under a specified time limit, appear in every level besides boss levels. Every Platinum Relic time must be beaten.

When you’ve done all we’ve listed above, your progress bar should read 106%, signifying that you’re finished and have earned Platinum.
