After more than a year of original anime content, fans were eager to see how the Mujina Bandits arc would play out in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ return to adapting the manga. Since it contains pivotal moments for Boruto and the other main characters, viewers have been curious about how the anime will interpret these scenes.
These moments of character development were given ample time to develop in earlier episodes of the arc, and the arc concluded on a high note when Boruto eventually faced off against Mujina Gang chief Shojoji and his super disgusting banned Jutsu powers.

The amount of preparation and effort put into the fight between Boruto and Shojoji was remarkable, and it paid off in the waning seconds to choose a victor. As Shojoji made his final attempt, Boruto raced up behind him and hit him with a Rasengan; the aftershock flew skyward in a stylish manner.
Fans weren’t left wanting after this arc’s last battle, as the new opening tune hinted at a return to the manga’s story. There are several extremely key hints about impending confrontations and villains in the series, and it also prominently showcases upcoming characters like Kawaki who have yet to make it to the anime.
Production on the next chapter has begun, and it promises to bring the manga back. It’s excellent news, especially after the 80-episode gap between official manga storylines, and maybe just what wandering Boruto fans need to get back into the anime.
There have been a lot of positive developments for the sequel so far, and this animation is the icing on the cake for fans who have stuck with the anime despite the long lulls in the action that have occurred between the main episodes that advance Boruto’s plot.
