Boruto vs Momoshiki

Boruto: What Exactly Will Momoshiki Do When He Faces Isshiki in Battle?

As every reader of the Boruto manga knows, our hero had Momoshiki Ohtsutsuki implant a karma seal into his body. The Karma seal functions as a sort of insurance policy for the Ohtsutsukis, transferring their DNA onto a compatible host in the event of a catastrophic event.

Now that the final incarnation of Momoshiki’s Karma seal has been revealed in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 52, fans everywhere are eagerly speculating on his next move.

What will Momoshiki Do?

Speculation is all we have for now, although it’s not completely out of line to claim that some of these ideas have some merit. Isshiki had intended to use Boruto as a sacrifice in exchange for the chakra fruit, therefore he did not kill him. Momoshiki has finally materialized, so let’s discuss the most likely outcome;

Momoshiki fighting Isshiki:

Momoshiki will likely try to kidnap Isshiki in his final minutes of life so that he can sacrifice himself to obtain the 10 tails needed to make the Chakra Fruit.

It’s evident that Isshiki didn’t kill Boruto for the same reason. Still, he should try to accomplish this before Kawaki has the Karma implanted in him once more. Since it would be impossible for anyone to handle Isshiki Ohtsutsuki at full strength and without a time limit.

Boruto vs Momoshiki

Although I doubt everything will go swimmingly for Momoshiki. In the opening few pages of the manga, Kawaki and Boruto appear to be locked in a final struggle, using Karma seals.

A variety of interpretations are possible here. There might be an opening for Momoshiki and Isshiki to join forces against the Ninja. They are the greatest challenges facing Ohtsutsuki as a whole.

Momoshiki & Isshiki teaming up:

It’s possible that the two Ohtsutsukis will join forces to eliminate their enemies and then settle their differences through combat. Or they could come to a mutual contract of sorts where one of them offers himself to the ten tails and is later reborn.

The winner of the Karma race may then be the one to sacrifice himself. We know this because each Ohtsutsuki has karma implanted in their own vessel. To put it another way, the one who fully realizes their karma is the victor.

It would be a mistake, however, to focus solely on the Ohtsutsuki alliance; instead, Naruto, Sasuke, and Momoshiki will likely form an unanticipated alliance in an effort to stop Isshiki, who poses arguably the greatest threat in the Naruto universe if he is successful in infesting Kawaki with his Karma.

Momoshiki might stop Isshiki and give Kawaki the karma seal, the third possibility.

Despite this, I believe that Ishhiki will be able to implant Kawaki with his karma seal, but that the seal won’t be complete for some reason, and Boruto may be able to control Momoshiki inside of him. Maybe what happened against Boro was merely a precursor to the full expression. The future has no guarantees.

I would guess that the whole thing would be resolved in twenty chapters. As was previously indicated, these are merely assumptions. Even though any one of them might end up being correct. So, give your comments and stay tuned for more Boruto material.
