The young golfer achieved early LPGA Tour success and a successful amateur career. In addition to winning the Hawaii State Open in 2014, Corpuz has also represented Hawaii in the Asia Pacific Junior Cup and the AJGA Wyndham Cup while playing for the West team. She had played in six USGA championships prior to enrolling in college, which was the second-highest number ever. She also had nine top-10 finishes in AJGA majors and over 15 top-5 finishes.

She competed in the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship as a senior in high school in 2016, placing second, and won the Hawaii State High School Championship on the fourth playoff hole. Additionally, Corpuz participated in the 2016 LPGA Lotte Championship as an amateur at the Ko Olina Resort, where she earned a second-round score of 72 and ultimately fell three strokes short of making the cut.

Throughout her tenure at USC (2016–2021), Corpuz led the Trojans’ women’s golf team to a 71.57 stroke average, earning her a spot on the first team of All-Americans. She participated in the 2021 Curtis Cup and the 2020 and 2021 Arnold Palmer Cups.

She won her third U.S. Open and sixteenth USGA championship at the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open. In the 2020 North and South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst Resort, Corpuz came in second despite trailing the eventual winner Rachel Kuehn by 19 holes. In the World Amateur Golf Rankings, she attained a career-high ranking of eighth.
