Charles Oliveira had to cancel his forthcoming fight due to an injury. He was scheduled to face Islam Makhachev again at UFC 294 due to an eyebrow injury. Makhachev won their most recent battle in October 2022.

Charles Oliveira, born on October 17, 1989, in a Brazilian favela, has had a spectacular and colorful MMA career. He began his career as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion before moving on to professional MMA in 2007. Oliveira had considerable success in his early career, winning numerous titles.
