After Scream VI’s box office success, which set a record opening for the venerable horror film series in March, Scream 7 has been formally confirmed.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see the same creative team – directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, together with writers James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick – return for the seventh film, which Paramount and Spyglass have recently announced.
They undoubtedly appear eager for another confrontation with Ghostface. Here is everything you need to know about Scream 7 in light of that including its release date, cast and much more.

Scream 7 Expected Release Date
We don’t yet have an official release date for Scream 7 as of now but it has been officially confirmed, as has been previously stated. Scream 6 was revealed in February 2022, and it debuted in March 2023, 14 months after the previous film.
The Hollywood Handle posted an official tweet which stated that Scream 7 is officially happening.

The current primary cast members, particularly Jenna Ortega, are in high demand and working on other projects. We might have to wait a bit longer as a result of that perhaps delaying the development of the new movie. When Scream 7’s release date becomes a fact, we’ll know more about when to expect it.
Scream 7 Cast And Characters
Even though Ghostface went on the att@ck, our “core four” were able to escape uninjured, despite Chad suffering many stabbings.

Additionally, it’s expected that Roger L. Jackson will return to voice Ghostface, and Skeet Ulrich will make another appearance as Billy Loomis, who continues to stalk Sam from the afterlife with lethal advise.
Whether Neve Campbell will reprise her role as Sidney Prescott is less certain. Gale claims that she took Mark and the kids away and deserved her “happy ending” in Scream 6, which is how her disappearance is explained. Perhaps the legendary Final Girl from Scream is done, but she might be persuaded to return for one last Ghostface fight.
