Release Date Rumors For The Elder Scrolls 6

On Xbox consoles and PC, The Elder Scrolls 6 release date is anticipated to occur no later than 2028. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer exclaimed that TES 6 is “so far out” and “a game that’s like five-plus years away” in 2023 amid Microsoft’s legal battle with the FTC.

In contrast, Microsoft’s attorney claims that Elder Scrolls 6 is scheduled for a 2026 release timeframe as the release date has been pushed up to three years instead of five years. This goes against what Phil Spencer declared therefore we think it’s just a simple error.

USEP posted an official tweet which confirms that the release date of The Elder Scrolls 6 has been pushed to three years.

The game appears to be so far off that Spencer was unable to even specify which consoles it would debut on since it might not be available until the generation following the Xbox Series X and S. In 2027 or 2028, the next generation of consoles is predicted to appear.

Spencer’s remarks are not the only ones that suggest TES 6 won’t be available for several years. Bethesda CEO Todd Howard claimed the game was still in the “design phase.”

It’s unlikely that Bethesda will make a full transition to TES 6 until after the Starfield release date and possibly even after the debut of the first Starfield DLC. Since Elder Scrolls 6 hasn’t been the subject of many details since its announcement in 2018, Bethesda is unlikely to be prepared to reveal much until the game is almost ready for release.

Release Date Rumors For The Elder Scrolls 6

The Elder Scrolls 6’s PlayStation availability is questionable, while it will undoubtedly be available on Xbox and PC. Similar to Starfield, it is likely to be a full console exclusive for Xbox. Likewise, gamers are also curious to know the location of the game. In the words that follow we have detailed information with regard to the location speculations.

Location Rumors For The Elder Scrolls 6

It has been speculated that Hammerfell will be the Elder Scrolls 6 setting.

One tweet from The Elder Scrolls’ official Twitter account, for instance, has three strategically positioned candles to mark the beginning of the year 2021: one above the map, one in Skyrim, and the final one beneath the Hammerfell label. The candle is supposed to reference Starfield and line up with the space above the map. Hammerfell may be the “past” that the tweet is alluding to given it has been explored in prior games. The post also instructs players to “transcribe the past and map the future.”

The stakes are higher now that the series has gained fame since the release of Skyrim, therefore Bethesda Game Studios is probably investing a lot of time and energy into making sure the sequel is a success. The Elder Scrolls 6’s story, both in the main narrative and the side content, is expected to be incredibly compelling, as the main story is what drives any RPG game.

Racial Rumors For The Elder Scrolls 6

Due to the lore of Tamriel, it seems unlikely that any new races will be added if The Elder Scrolls 6 returns to Hammerfell or High Rock for the next game in the series. But there may be some new races that you can play as if the game decides to take us somewhere new.

We don’t anticipate the addition of any new races at this time because Skyrim has chosen to solely use characters from previous Elder Scrolls games.
