On May 5, 2023, Prime Video removed the miniseries’ official trailer. The video provides a troubling look at the beliefs of IBLP founder Bill Gothard and his organization. The trailer also demonstrates the far-reaching consequences of these chilling beliefs.

What Is IBLP Religion?
The Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) is a Christian, non-denominational organization that serves as a coordinating group for several ministries, as reported by Sportskeeda. Often referred to as a “cult,” Bill Gothard, an American Christian evangelist, created and refined the IBLP.
The religious organization’s major mission is to teach its members how to live fruitful lives by adhering to the teachings of the Bible. The whole process includes programs that reach out to the community, a foreign ministry, ministry seminars, and mentoring for troubled youth.
Children are encouraged to learn at home by this group. The children are also taught to constantly respect and obey their fathers and to adhere closely to the interpretations of the Bible provided by IBLP.

A man in the promo for the new documentary series, however, claimed that the IBLP’s ultimate goal was “World domination,” suggesting that it is about more than just religion.
IBLP has a large building in East Texas near Big Sandy Town and a post office box in Oak Brook, Illinois. According to their “Contact Us” page, the organization’s main office is in Big Sandy Town. Several people who participated in IBLP programs have reportedly labeled the church and its followers as a “cult.”

The Religion Of The Duggar Family Is Examined In The Trailer Of A Docuseries
As previously announced, on June 2, 2023, Prime Video will debut the limited documentary series Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets. The docuseries has been directed by Julia Willoughby Nason and Olivia Crist. It will feature interviews with Jill Duggar, one of the most notable members of the Duggar family.
