John Roberts Fox News Illness Reveals He Has a Pacemaker, Opens Up About Health Challenges!

John Roberts, a host for Fox News, has been candid about his recent health struggles.

This Monday, the 65-year-old former chief White House correspondent returned to the news program “America Reports” to announce that he has a pacemaker.

On Wednesday, Fox News released a clip of him saying, “For individuals at home who didn’t know, this time last week I left our show and immediately went into the hospital.” It had been a long since I felt well enough to say, “I had not been feeling well.”

Roberts continued by saying that the stent surgeons had to return to his heart in 2018 because it had “blocked back up again and needed to be reopened.”

However, he added, “but at the same time, the electrical circuitry in my heart was going bad, so I’m now battery powered,” while touching his chest. Yes, I’m a pacemaker patient.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a pacemaker is a tiny device that helps regulate the heart’s rhythm so that it doesn’t beat too slowly. A pacemaker, also known as a cardiac pacing device, is a medical device placed in the chest to regulate the heart’s rhythm.

In addition, Roberts said that Pence, who got a pacemaker in April of 2021, called him on Monday to “lend a measure of support.” When Pence was selected as the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2016, he came clean about his asymptotic left bundle branch block.

Former co-host Tyrus voluntarily withdrew from Britt McHenry’s harassment lawsuit against Fox News.

Roberts expressed his gratitude to his loved ones and the medical staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia, where Pence previously underwent a pacemaker implantation operation. “We had a beautiful talk about what it’s like to be a pacemaker recipient and the road forward,” he added.

“I’m 75% (better), but I’m aiming to be 100% soon,” Roberts remarked.

It was “wonderful to be back” on “America Reports” with Sandra Smith, Roberts said in a tweet on Wednesday. It’s nice to have you back, Smith tweeted.

Roberts admitted to having stents installed in his heart owing to blocked arteries, a condition the Fox News anchor says is the result of his long history of smoking, in an interview with “The Washingtonian” published in October 2020.

Having stated so, he went on to explain that his three stainless steel heart valves were the result of his long history of smoking.

Roberts discussed his newfound dedication to health and his efforts to adopt a more nutritious diet with the media outlet. “I’ve always had a passion for athletics and try to keep myself in a passable state of physical fitness through…
