Who is Devon Diep

Who is the Newest Member of the “Bling Empire” Cast, Devon Diep?

Devon Diep has just joined the cast of the hit reality show Bling Empire on Netflix. Diep made her first appearance in a trailer for season 3 with two other cast members from the previous season. This made the show look a little bit more glamorous.

Diep is a professional model, singer, and actor. She was born in Vietnam to refugees, and her parents were also refugees. Her history, style, and rise to fame make Diep one of the most interesting people on the show, both now and in the past.

Even though no one knows for sure how much she is worth, she is in the same league as Anna Shay, whose net worth is around USD 600 million. In any case, it will be interesting to see how Diep gets along with some of the richest people in the Bling Empire.

Diep works as a model, an actress, and a musician. She is also said to have a production company called ALLS Production, which focuses on Asian-themed stories.

She plays Kevin Kreider’s ex-wife in the movie Bling Empire. In the season 3 trailer, Kreider is shown before Diep, whom Christine Chiu found and flew to Paris to bring back to Diep to meet the handsome South Korean hunk who started Be More Matcha.

In the trailer, a surprised Kreider hugs Diep, and the two of them have a lovely conversation. Fans want to know if they will get back together during season 3 and if they will be in season 4, which hasn’t been approved yet but is highly anticipated.

Here are some interesting things to know about Devon Diep

Diep had a tough childhood

Her parents left Vietnam to start a new life in the United States. They moved to the city of Boston, Massachusetts.

“I often remind myself that my parents ran away to a foreign country with no money, had to learn a new language, and risked their lives so that we could have a better future than what we had in Vietnam. In 2021, she wrote in Boston Man magazine, “I promised myself that I would succeed and make them proud.”

She talks about how hard things were for her family. As a child, she and her siblings would help run the family store while she did her homework.

They had to fight off thieves as well. During a robbery, her younger brother was hit and her father was threatened with a gun.

She has received small arms training

Diep wrote in her article “Boston Man” that her dad was in the Navy. She joined the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) because of him. She did this for four years.

She said, “I’ve been trained by professionals to use pistols, shotguns, and rifles, and I’m trying to become a Massachusetts State Police Certified Firearms Instructor.”

Diep is a very successful model

Diep went into modeling because she wanted to do well and help her family. She got a chance when she won a competition in her area. Then, a talent agency signed her up.

Diep has also directed a short film of her own creation, titled “Air,” which has not yet been seen to the public.

She is also well-known in the music scene

In addition to acting, Diep has also experimented with music. Indeed, she has rapidly established herself as a prominent singer-songwriter.

Revenge of the Green Dragons’ title song, “Green Dragon,” is one of her most well-known works (2014). The film was co-directed by Andrew Loo and Andrew Lau and executive produced by Martin Scorsese.

When my friend [Shing Ka] told me he had been cast as the White Tiger Boss in a movie, the door to this role opened. While on the 6 train to get to my recording studio in New York City, I spontaneously penned the song. According to her account in the Boston Man story, she was “over the moon” when he told her that the director and cast loved it and wanted it in the movie and soundtrack.

In addition, she cited her TIFF performance as a singer-songwriter debut as a personal highlight.

Diep has also headlined the Bread & Roses Festival in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and sung the American national anthem before baseball games for the New York Mets and basketball games for the Brooklyn Nets.

She has a YouTube channel and other businesses

Diep uploads renditions of songs by musicians like Bonnie Raitt and Mariah Carey to her YouTube account.

She has also directed music videos, such as 2015’s “Do You Believe,” which Diep posted online before the holidays.

Apart from the entertainment industry, Diep also operates a beauty business under the brand Diep Looks. With her mother, she also operates a second, smaller business called Love Mama x Me.

She became the face of Kreider’s company Taejin Beverage Inc. and its flagship beverage, Sans, in October 2022.
