Tia Mowry claims that she decided to divorce husband Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage.
The 44-year-old “Sister, Sister” alum stated on Wednesday’s “Today” show, “I realized when I started to focus on my happiness.”
Ultimately, self-love is what matters most, but “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK — meaning our children, our friends, our family.”

On the “Today” show, Tia Mowry said that she decided she wanted a divorce from Cory Hardrict at a certain period in time.

Mowry, who just ended her romance with Hardrict, 43, has stated that she views the breakup as a “celebration” and views the partnership as a “success.”

According to divorce papers acquired by Page Six, Mowry requested shared legal and physical custody of their children and listed “irreconcilable disagreements” as the reason for filing for divorce.
