 Stipe Miocic’s Early Life.

In Euclid, Ohio, Stipe Miocic entered the world on August 19, 1982. Stipe’s parents divorced while he was young, but he stayed with his mother, who pushed him to pursue a career in sports.

At Eastlake North High, he was active on the baseball and football teams and in the wrestling program. However, he was particularly fascinated by wrestling and boxing matches. The heavyweight boxing champion also wrestled at Cleveland State University in NCAA Division I.

In his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut in February 2010, Miocic defeated Corey Mullis for the NAAFS promotion out of Ohio. Through a June 2011 victory over Bobby Brents, he was crowned NAAFS Heavyweight Champion.
