The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday that Oregon tight end Spencer Webb had di*d in a recreational acc*dent on Wednesday. His age was given as 22. The sheriff’s office claims that Webb fell and hit his head near Triangle Lake, a popular spot for cliff jumping and natural rock waterslides near Eugene, Oregon.

It was reported by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office that Spencer Webb, Oregon Ducks tight end drown*d in a diving mishap at Triangle Lake, which is located approximately 35 minutes from campus in Eugene. He was 22 years old.

On Wednesday afternoon, authorities received a report of an injured person near the rock slides and reportedly arrived immediately. They found that a 22-year-old male had fallen and hit his head when they arrived.

“Bystanders and responding paramedics were unable to revive him. Lane County Sheriff Search and Rescue personnel responded to assist with bringing him back to the roadway as he was approximately 100 yards down a steep trail,” the report said.
