Who Would Win, She-hulk or Captain Marvel and Why?

She-Hulk Vs Captain Marvel

She-Hulk Vs Captain Marvel

Some of the most prominent female characters from Marvel Comics are rising to the top of the MCU’s character pecking order. Although Captain Marvel has been around for quite some time, She-Hulk is the newest female Marvel hero to make her way onto the big screen as the lead in her own television series. Who, though, would win in a fight if She-Hulk and Captain Marvel faced each other?

Captain Marvel from the MCU would defeat Thanos in a fight since she is significantly more powerful than him without the Infinity Stones. However, She-Hulk is at least as powerful as MCU Hulk, who was defeated by Thanos in a fistfight.

It’s important to note that Captain Marvel in the MCU is at a completely different power level compared to the rest of the MCU heroes, with possibly only Thor and Scarlet Witch being able to match her. She-Hulk is formidable, but she still has a ways to go before she can match Carol Danvers’ strength. Let’s take a closer look at this conflict now.

Contents

Strength

We can all agree that She-Hulk has strengths that might match or exceed that of Hulk. Though the full amount of She-strength Hulk has yet to be revealed in the MCU, Jen Walters is capable of competing with Bruce Banner in terms of physical prowess. In the comics, however, She-strength Hulk is comparable to that of a regular Hulk, rather than the limitless power that the original green monster possesses when he’s in a rage. But when she puts her mind to it, She-Hulk becomes so powerful that she can effortlessly launch rocks into space.

Because of her Kree physiology, Carol Danvers is already super powerful and can easily one-punch other Kree combatants. Without her cosmological abilities, she was able to force her way through Kree warriors, who were significantly more powerful than human soldiers. In Binary mode, however, Captain Marvel gains such strength that she is capable of taking on and defeating Thanos himself, not to mention the massive Sanctuary II flagship.

Captain Marvel can only compete with She-strength Hulk if she switches to Binary mode. The fully powered She-Hulk is still formidable, and she could easily hold her own against the Hulk in Binary mode. However, due to her greater overall strength, Jen gets the nod in this matchup.

Durability

She-Hulk, played by Jen Walters, is just as tough as the Hulk, played by Bruce Banner, and can easily resist blows from regular weaponry. By channeling her inner She-Hulk, Jen was able to avoid injury while being slashed by a barrage of saws. Assuming her durability is comparable to Bruce’s, we can safely assume that she would be able to sustain the same degree of physical harm.

Captain Marvel’s Kree biology and her cosmic abilities make her extraordinarily resilient even when she isn’t in Binary mode. She can withstand being thrown from great heights and the impact of alien weaponry thanks to her robust muscle fibers. However, she is immensely tough when in Binary mode, as seen by the fact that she didn’t flinch at Thanos’ headbutts. And she survived an explosion from the Power Stone, the Infinity Stone with the greatest destructive potential.

The fact that Carol Danvers survived being struck by the entire force of the Power Stone is evidence of her superhuman toughness. While it’s true that She-Hulk can take a punch and keep on going, we all know that the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was no match for Thanos.

Powers and Abilities

While we know that Jen Walters’ She-Hulk possesses a wide range of abilities in the comics, we don’t know what those abilities are in the MCU. As such, she presumably possesses all of the Hulk’s abilities. That means she already possesses superhuman strength and, under the right conditions, might develop even more power. And the truth is, unlike Bruce, she has total command over her She-Hulk form.

Due to her exposure to an Infinity Stone, Carol Danvers possesses cosmic-level abilities. Because of her skill with cosmic energy manipulation, she can use it to drive herself through the air at great speeds, potentially making the trip from one planet to another in less time than it takes most spaceships. In addition to her other superpowers, she can release bursts of cosmic energy from her body that are more than sufficient to destroy any foe.

Captain Marvel’s abilities are purely cosmic in origin, which is why Carol Danvers is one of the strongest MCU characters. Conversely, She-talents Hulk is purely physical in nature.

Intelligence

Because she can rein in her wrath, Jen Walters is in charge of her She-Hulk metamorphosis, making her unique compared to Bruce Banner. In this respect, she is just as intelligent as usual even in her transformed body. As a lawyer, it should come as no surprise that Jen is a very bright and humorous individual.

Carol Danvers may not look like a genius, but she knows her way around military strategy. She is well-versed in military strategy and can craft effective battle plans. While Captain Marvel may not have the highest IQ, she certainly knows her way around a fight.

Even though She-Hulk has a higher IQ than Captain Marvel, the latter is the superior fighter. We, therefore, can’t choose between these two and award one the win.

Fighting Skills

Jen Walters was a lawyer before she became She-Hulk, thus it’s likely that she’s never been in a real fight despite her judo training. Having used her judo talents against Bruce and Titania was the only time she had any combat experience prior to becoming She-Hulk.

Captain Marvel is a master warrior and skilled fighter because she studied with Yon-Rogg for a long period. Even though Yon-Rogg was more skilled in battle, Carol Danvers came near to defeating him several times when she wasn’t using her superpowers. Even Thanos is no match for her as she channels her cosmic force into battle, and she easily dispatches Yon-Rogg.

While it’s true that She-Hulk has some fighting chops thanks to her judo background, Captain Marvel far outshines her in this department. Because of this, Carol Danvers triumphs.

She-Hulk vs. Captain Marvel: Who Would Win & Why?

She-Hulk may be a new addition to the MCU, but she’s already making waves thanks to her superior self-control compared to Bruce Banner’s Hulk. A more accurate description would be that she lacks Captain Marvel’s decades of experience and tremendous firepower. Even though Jen Walters has improved her strength to the point where she can compete with Bruce Banner, it’s common knowledge that Captain Marvel is the most formidable of the MCU’s superheroes.
