Scottish actor and comedian Anthony Robert McMillan OBE (born on 30 March 1950) passed away on 14 October 2022. He was better known by his stage name, Robbie Coltrane. His roles as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011) and Valentin Domitrovich Zukovsky in GoldenEye (1995) and The World Is Not Enough (1997) brought him international acclaim (1999).
In the New Year’s Honours for 2006, Queen Elizabeth II recognized him for his contributions to the theatre by awarding him an OBE.
