Even though Riverdale will be renamed Rivervale in the new season’s premiere, fans shouldn’t expect the programme to be cancelled just yet. Is Riverdale season 7 actually happening?
Despite the fact that the programme has yet to receive an official renewal for season 7, there is still good news for fans. According to KJ Apa, the show’s four major stars have agreed to stay on for “the next three years,” meaning their contracts will expire after season 7. If The CW so chooses, it should have no problem renewing the show for a second season.
When will we find out if Riverdale has been renewed for season 7?
There’s a high chance we won’t have to wait long to find out if The CW will be renewing any of its shows this season. As Riverdale’s renewal was announced in February of the previous year, it is to be hoped that the same will be true in February of 2022.
What will the new season be about?
Like most Riverdale events, we don’t know what’s going to happen this time around. Whatever new stories the authors have in store will undoubtedly leave us breathless, as history has demonstrated!
