After taking Nintendo Switch Sports offline last week due to a glitch, Nintendo has announced that it will be resuming service.

According to a support page on Nintendo’s Japanese website (Google Translated), the servers will be back online after Patch 1.2.2 is released on Tuesday (via VGC). The ability to save to Nintendo’s cloud services will return with a patch on Thursday, version 1.2.3.

On Friday, Nintendo said that the latest update to Switch Sports, version 1.2.1, fixes a fault that caused the game to crash during the pre-match loading screen. The issue affected both online and offline play. The corporation stopped pushing out the update, put the servers on hold, and stopped saving user data until the issue was resolved.

Anyone who has played Switch Sports and is a subscriber to Nintendo Switch Online will have their subscription extended by a week as compensation for not being able to play the game, Nintendo writes on the support page.
