To learn more about the character and where he came from, check out some old folk tales from the 16th century. “Magi” is one of the most popular manga and anime franchises that deals with a young boy and his genie. The story follows Aladdin as he meets a genie and goes on some magical adventures, as in other versions of the well-known tale. Alibaba and Morgiana, two of his new friends, are based on characters from the old tales.

When will Magi Season 3 be released?
However, it is possible that the third season of “Magi” will arrive sooner rather than later. The NU Herald reports that Season 3 could be released as early as October of this year. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s too early to tell if there will be additional delays in the release of the game. That said, many anime fans on Reddit believed the series’ on-screen adventures ended with the final season of “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad,” so at least knowing that “Magi” will return to screens soon is something to look forward to.
Another possible reason for the delay is the project’s ambitious nature. A larger budget for “Magi” Season 3 suggests that the show’s creators have taken their time to ensure that the series delivers in terms of scope and scale, as noted by the NU Herald report.

However, it is likely that the original voice actors will reprise their roles in the third season of “Magi.” “Digimon Adventure Tri” star Kaori Ishihara portrayed Aladdin in the previous films, and fans hope she’ll reprise her role. That is not to say that Ishihara hasn’t had a busy year thus far, as she has provided the voice of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Black Clover, and Higehiro. I’m crossing my fingers that she’ll have time to watch “Magi.”
Yûki Kaji, who played Alibaba in the series, would be an excellent addition if he were to return. “Attack on Titan,” “Psycho Pass,” “Gantz:O,” “Weathering with You” and a slew of other anime series and movies have all featured him since the last time he appeared in “Magi.”
Morgiana’s actress, Haruka Tomatsu, completed the main cast in the previous film. Even though she’s had a busy 2021, appearing in such shows as “Horimiya” and “Peach Boy Riverside,” it’s safe to say that she still has unfinished business in the “Magi” universe. It’s unclear if the original gang will make a comeback, but there hasn’t been any evidence to suggest that they will.
What is Magi Season 3 all about?
Season 3 of “Magi” is still a mystery, but Aladdin will likely continue his journey around the world, meeting all kinds of people, both friends and foes. Third-act revelry is a given, as the show’s primary focus is on thrills and spills. However, viewers can probably expect more mature storytelling as the series gets bolder with its tales. Studio A-1 Pictures did not provide any significant updates at the time of this writing. There were more morally ambiguous storylines in the second season because of themes like war, political scheming, and social deprivation. The next season of the show can take more risks because the characters appear to be more mature and wise.
Aladdin’s adventures were also featured in numerous stories in the “1001 Arabian Nights” collection, which was reworked for the previous seasons. Because there are still so many ideas in that source material that can be applied to an exciting adventure-themed anime like “Magi,” Season 3 is sure to continue this tradition.
