Luke Perry, an actor, died one year ago on Wednesday, and many people who knew and loved him were remembering him on that day. Perry died of a massive stroke at the age of 52.
Luke died on March 4, 2019, at the age of 52, and was buried in a mushroom burial suit, an eco-friendly alternative supposed to “aid in decomposition, work to neutralize toxins found in the body, and transfer nutrients to plant life.”
Many of Perry’s previous co-stars paid tribute to him after his death, including Gabrielle Carteris who said, “Dearest Luke- I am so heart broken and at a loss for words. You my friend were a mighty soul and have left your mark.”

Perry received three Bravo Otto Awards for Best Male TV Star for his work on “Beverly Hills, 90210” in 1992, 1993, and 1994.
The series also got him a nomination for Favorite TV Actor from the Kids’ Choice Awards in 1993, as well as nominations for Favorite Teen Dream – Male in 2004 and Break Up That Was So Bad It Was Good (shared with Shannen Doherty) in 2007.
