Career

On the Culprit label, Wilson dropped an album simply titled Wilson. In 2016, she released another album titled Tougher. The album was issued by Lone Chief Records. It was well received by fans, and the album ended up on Billboard’s 2016 list of the Top Country Albums.

Her second extended play, a self-titled set, was published independently in 2018. As a result, in 2018, Wilson signed a publishing contract with SONY/ATV.

Wilson has joined the BBR Music Group as a signed artist. Redneck Hollywood, her third EP, was her first to be released by a major label (2019).

It was also in 2019 that her first single for a major label, titled “Dirty Looks,” was made available to the public. The EP received good marks from Off the Record UK, which lauded Wilson’s composition and Jay Joyce’s production.

Her breakthrough came in 2021 with “Things a Man Oughta Know,” which topped the Billboard Country Songs chart and peaked at #3 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Her third studio album, titled Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’, featured the song (2021). This disc, which featured 12 tracks, was her debut full-length album collection on the BBR label.

Wilson’s sound is based on country music but also incorporates pop, southern rock, modern country, and vintage country.
