A divorce has been finalized between NASCAR driver Kurt Busch and his wife of five years, Ashley Busch. Kurt Busch said in a statement, “I am heartbroken to confirm that my wife Ashley and I are working to dissolve our marriage. Divorce is a personal and private matter and I hope our privacy will be respected.”
According to court documents acquired by TMZ, Ashley submitted the petition for divorce on May 9th. According to the documents, Ashley is quoted as saying that she and her husband’s marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

First meeting in 2015, Kurt and Ashley dated for two years before tying the knot in 2017.

Following his most recent victory, he gave an interview to NBC Sports in which he thanked everyone who contributed to his accomplishment.
“I love my family at home. I love my KBI employees and everybody at 23XI. This is for us,” Kurt said. “This is what the hard work is all about no matter if you lose a couple of spots on pit road, no matter if our car was a basket of whatever to start. I’m going to go find Toto. I’m in Kansas. I’m loving it.”
